Hi friends!

I’m trying something new here. If you have been around for awhile - you know we have a lot of space in our basement. We have around 2,000 square feet that formerly was used as apartments for college boys since the 1960s.

We finished one side of the basement for an apartment/extension for family in our home. Details here.

Now we are going to finish the other space as a guest bedroom for family as well!

We are planning on finishing it in the next 6-weeks for the oneroomchallenge.com

We had already been working on getting the room to a livable condition so this is where are at this point. It was cinderblock and tile.

My ideas are ALWAYS a moving target. This is what we have in mind so far. It’s a little bigger than a typical bedroom…We have space for a small couch, desk, and full bathroom.
