Airstream Bunk Beds
/We decided bunk beds was the way to go in the Airstream with three little kids. We couldn’t find plans for anything online - I’m sure Philip can chime in with answers to questions. We used old lumber we had leftover in the basement and old flooring for the bedslats.
We primed the bed and then painted it to match the walls with the same durable paint we used on the walls and then decided to take out the other bed because we wanted the couple inches of floor space.
I purchased this wallpaper from Chasing Paper this fall and FINALLY had a chance to put it up. I’m kind of glad I didn’t have the option of the Max Humphrey collection because I would have had a much harder time making up my mind - linked here.
And just like that - we are almost ready to go on a big trip this summer up to New England.
Beddys was a must. I can’t imagine making a bunk bed without it. They kindly gifted me with the bedding - this is Naturally Boho & you can take 15% off with the code KATIEB.
We will finish the flooring and add the other bed soon.
