Summer Camp Patio + Bedroom Updates

We decided this fall that our little vacation home in Cape Charles needed a true dedicated bedroom to serve us and our guests better. We closed our calendar in January and our contractor started work. with plans to build a 12ftx11ft room and a patio with a fence.

Here are some befores of the place.

And here is the update after the addition & some love…

Walls are Benjamin Moore White Dove & floors are Benjamin Moore Command Paint in Edgecomb Grey.

Because we were able to put a bedroom on the first floor, we could get rid of the bunk beds on the first floor and move bunks upstairs which we think is a much better set up for families too.

I have not shared an update of the bathroom we renovated in January. 😳 We are so happy with the tiny space and using the space more efficiently. The washer/dryer was previously in the living room because that was the only spot for the hook-ups.

I still want to do some work to the dining room…we are so excited to have a dining room though and I love these chairs!

I love a brick patio and it was one of the more affordable patio options. We went with a herringbone pattern. We love the Walker Edison table. It is adjustable which is a great for this small space.
