DIY Board & Batten Wall

Since putting up our Board + Batten Wall - I have had a few questions from people that would like to do this.

My husband did this - but this is one of the few carpentry projects I think I could have done.

SUPPLIES:

He used a slightly thicker MDF board to run along the ceiling and baseboard.

Then he nailed those into the studs.

He measured the wall and spaced the boards evenly.

Then he actually glued them in place. They are not going to bear any weight they do not need much to hold them into place.

Next, he used small finishing nails on the boards to secure them to the wall.
