Choosing A Bedroom Rug & Bedroom Size Guide
/I’m starting to round up some of my most frequently asked questions. First, rugs size.
You want to make choices that you’ll love for a long time and it can be really hard to shop online.
Here were some of the most frequently asked questions you all had about choosing bedroom rug.
Ideally, you want a couple of feet one each size of the bed so that when you get out of the bed, you step onto rug.
How do you know what size to get?
Usually you will want a bigger rug than you think you need. Maybe that’s because I’m cheap and the lower price is appealing.
In most rooms, you want the front legs of the furniture to size on the rug, but not run into the walls.

However, often there is a unique problem in your room.
Long room - we have a long bedroom and I didn’t want the sitting chair to feel like it was floating alone. I love the layered rug look and decided to try it here. Links to these items.
Alternatively - before that I had just used one small rug on the side, which is a great option to save money too since this rug is a lot smaller.
We also had too narrow of a room and could not fit much of a rug. We ran the rug long ways and used a pretty small rug because the room was so narrow.

How do I pick a rug?
My answer will usually be moodboard. This is how I like to do it.
