West Elm Couch Round-up
/We have had four West Elm couches in the past 5 years. A little bit crazy, but I thought I’d share some about them if you are looking at purchasing a West Elm couch.
Henry Sofa:
The Henry sofa was our first purchase. We knew we wanted leather with little kids & are so glad we did go with that. They no longer carry Henry in leather to my knowledge. In reality, I wanted the Hamilton style sofa (more MCM), but I was afraid MCM would go out of style. Spoiler - I think it would have been fine five years later.
The leather is super forgiving and has aged well. Not all Henry sofas have their cushions attached, but this style does and I think it helps the pillows to not sag. This style is comfortable, but not plush.
Thorton Sofa:
We bought this for our Airstream renovation. The Thorton sofa fit perfectly in the front of the Airstream and it had space within the couch to store bedding. It converts to a queen size sleeper and if you are looking to use it in an airstream we had enough space to comfortably set up the bed. However, it is not a very comfortable couch. I don’t think you can beat the price though with the option to covert to a sleeper.
Paidge Sofa
We bought the Paidge Sofa second-hand, but have been happy with it. The fabric pills some, but a fabric shaver makes that a non-issue. I would say this one is slightly more comfortable than the Henry (however I don’t know if that is because we have a leather Henry). The pillows have started to sag and I just doubled an extra queen sized pillow in the cushion to help them keep their shape.
The Haven Sectional
We bought this couch about two years ago and have really enjoyed it so far. The leather is very forgiving and beautiful. This is the saddle nut leather color. We love how plush it is - it really is perfect for lounging around and watching a movie. Lots of space for a group.
It does sit pretty low and we can tell the pillows are starting to lose some of their shape, but I think that’s just part of the aging process with a couch.
Let me know you if you have questions about these!
