Part of my dream kitchen was an Ilve range. You may have seen them online - they big, beautiful Italian ranges that are absolutely gorgeous! We also decided to do an induction range because we do not have a gas line in this part of our house and liked the features of induction ranges.

The model we chose was ILVE UPI366NMPBKG Nostalgie II 36 inch Induction Range with 6 Elements (Triple Glass Door, Glossy Black, Brass). We seriously considered the blue color - which I think is so pretty too - but I had blue in my mind for the living room so black was nice pop of interest for me.

The before and after on this one is pretty mind blowing to me…

So far I’m am loving how quick water boils on the induction range and how quickly and evenly things in the oven are cooking! There are several oven settings I have tested out - you can easily select to cook from the bottom, the top of the oven or have both heating elements on.

I think the range pairs so nicely with the panel ready fridge (hiding back in the cabinets). This is the refrigerator we selected. It allows the range to be the star of the room. Originally we were going to add the panel ready fridge later and I’m so glad we do it now to finish the room.

I’ll share more of the features we are loving on the Ilve range soon because we have been so thrilled with it, but I couldn’t wait to share some of the first images of the kitchen completed.
