NEW AT TARGET: undone beauty!

NEW AT TARGET: undone beauty!

This is a crazy time for everyone. I keep hearing that big businesses like Target and Amazon will be fine - but the small businesses are the ones that need our support.

Did you know there are lots of smaller businesses on the shelves at Target? For these businesses, it’s an awesome chance for them to get their product out to more people by being in Target. I LOVE getting to share with you all about brands that I think you will love that fit into this category.

this week - 01

We finally finished our airbnb in our basement and its ready to rent! See the listing here & I’m starting to get sources online here if you are curious about where anything is from. I also have put a lot of things on our amazon list because we have found that to be an affordable place for light fixtures, etc.

I got this top off Amazon this week and love it! Then I realized my coat was the same brand (an amazon brand). Now that I have loved a couple items from Amazon - I’m eyeing this & this.

new to target: Lique Lips!

After moving from Massachusetts to Virginia this year, I thought things like dry skin and cracked lips were more from living in the Northeast….SURPRISE! Even though the weather is a little warmer in Virginia, I still am having these same problems from the dry heat in the house and the cold air outside.

This problem has had me on the hunt for something that would help moisturize my lips & possibly make me feel better about myself after having a baby this November. I usually keep a pretty simple makeup routine and love a touch of color on my lips.

When Lique Lips reached out to me about their products that are newly available at Target, I was intrigued.

I liked that Lique Lips had a simple lip care line with subtle scents (and I’m picky about things not smelling too strong) and cruelty-free products with natural ingredients. They have clear products or products with some color.

I have been using their line products available at Target (more products available on their website too!). I love that they are moisturizing, but also a beauty line with the option of products with color.

All of the products I tried had nice subtle colors that I thought were flattering for any skin tone. If brighter colors are your jam, they have those on their website too.

If you are also having dry lips, you’ll want to start with the lip scrub to help exfoliate. This is one of my favorite products because its helping to solve one of my issues this winter & I keep it on my nightstand.

The masque is also great for hydrating and you can find it in clear or with a hint of color.

I REALLY love the balm (the price is super reasonable)...this might be my favorite product I have been using. I feel like being a mom, I have very little time to get myself ready for the day & a hint of color helps me to look more put together. The color innocent is available at Target.

AND I also love the glosses, I have High Roller (I am wearing this above) & Forever Young and both are subtle and I love the vanilla scent...honestly, it smells like candy.

If you are looking for a product to moisturize your lips & make you feel more beautiful, I think you’ll love these products!

You can find these in some Target locations...online at Target & the most products are available on their website for a full range of products.

This post is sponsored by Lique Lips, but all opinions are my own. I only work with brands whose products I genuinely love and can endorse.

Master Bedroom Update

I can’t believe how many decisions it has taken to get to this point. When I was looking at all the different items we have purchased for our master bedroom, I remembered how each of these was a decision I had to research (like which mattress is the best? or what bedding? Should I buy that rug?)

So I thought I would share the sources to our master bedroom, which I am currently very happy with.

Keep in mind that I link these companies & their products only when I genuinely love the quality & use them in my own home, & not because of the commission I could receive.

One thing we debated on first was the mattress. My husband found Zinus and I was super skeptical, but because they had a return policy and a 100 night trial I thought - okay, let’s try it. We are really happy with this mattress. I have zero complaints about it and I have had friends try it as a result who also have loved it. We went with the thickest mattress they make because we figured we would try the nicest mattress they make and it is still reasonably priced.

I knew I wanted a duvet with a cover because it’s one of my favorite types of bedding. I spent a little more on the sheets + cover and spent less on the duvet insert. This is the duvet insert I got from Amazon. It claims to be hypoallergenic - if I had no budget - I would consider something organic - because this is something on your body for hours everyday - but this one has been fine and no problems.

I finally tried Brooklinen sheets and we liked them so much we decided to try their duvet cover as well. I really do not like a polyester or itchy sheet. We have really liked the sheets + the cover. I highly recommend these!

THE BED. Another decision I belabored over.

Anything that’s a bigger purchase like this - I tend to think about a lot...reading tons of reviews, etc. We FINALLY purchased this bed from Wayfair and 6 months in - we are really happy with it.

The grey blanket is a weighted blanket by Gravity…aka my new best friend. I generally have some problems falling asleep and this real seems to help me. With weighted blankets, you want to get around 10% of your body weight and I have heard spending a little more on them is worth is otherwise, the weight on the inside will shift all around. I was surprised by how much my husband spent on this (it was a Christmas gift…), but after using it - I am obsessed and think its worth every penny! I just don’t know how I am going to travel without one…

Lights on the nightstands are Amazon & very reasonably priced. The nightstands were made by my great-grandfather…and the rug is a flea market find, so no links to those!

Other sources you might be curious about…

I can honestly say, we have been very happy with everything and I hope it makes it easier for you to make some decisions if you are shopping.
